AlExandra (Allie) Gallion:
Born in Texas and based between the US and UK, Gallion's practice is rooted in street art, screen printing, and community engagement. With over two years in professional print shops and a decade of creative exploration, she merges traditional techniques with personal narrative. Her creative path has been shaped by both academic study in languages and film, and an intuitive pull toward the handmade.
Gallion’s visual language draws from punk ephemera, public signage, and archival photography. She is influenced by artists Barbara Kruger, Sister Corita Kent, Salvador Dalí, and Hieronymus Bosch, as well as filmmakers Adam Curtis and Alfred Hitchcock. Through their lens, Gallion explores surrealism, narrative tension, emotional architecture, and the blurred line between reality and perception. Her work balances tenderness and critique, grit and grace—inviting viewers to sit with contradiction, where beauty collides with distortion and clarity emerges from chaos.
